This was a very fun promo to work on. The main creative was “80s, disco, and VHS”.
I decided to make the piece very vibrant and energetic. I took inspiration from tv shows like Glow, Stranger Things, and various old 80s promos. Everything was filmed in a studio locally in Dallas. The film crew experimented with different color lighting and lens distortions to give it more of a dreamlike look.
