I started to have an idea about a dream like scenario revolving a butterfly made out of light. I began to develop the story by storyboarding it first. I drew influences from the works of the Matrix short films, Satoshi Kon, and Sofia Coppola. I wanted to make something atmospheric and something told in brevity.
